Your smile is powerful, and you can always expect our time together to start and end with one! I love answering your questions, resolving concerns, and helping meet your needs. I’m not a chair-side dental assistant, but as an administrator, I exist to assist! Here, you’ll find genuine people striving through honest-to-goodness efforts to make a difference. About 15 years ago when Dr. Wappett became my neighbor and invited me to be his office manager, he helped me become your neighbor!
Growing up with my father’s dental office at the top of our driveway and my husband working as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, I have enthusiasm for dentistry. In 2006, the Army brought us to Fairbanks, and it was quickly evident we’d found our place and people in the world. Though my 4 kids have grown and my husband has passed, I still feel at home in this marvelous place we get to live in.
I began working with Dr. Wappett in March 2021, and enjoy working with you on the financial aspects of your dental needs! I am here to help you understand insurance benefits, make payments, and process insurance claims. I enjoy meeting everyone, your smiles, and of course, the numbers!
I grew up as a military brat and graduated high school from Eielson AFB. After receiving my Bachelors in Accounting in California, I moved back to Alaska in 2015 and connected with my amazing husband (who was also my senior prom date back in 2009)! I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, baking, camping, and DIY projects.
The dental field has always been a part of my family. Many of my relatives worked for various dentists and helped make my childhood visits to the dentist exciting and positive experiences. Now, I am here to do the same for you. Working with Dr. Wappett is always a joy, and whether I am behind the scenes or chairside with you, I strive to help make every visit comfortable and memorable.
I was born and raised in Alaska. My husband and I are raising our two children here, and we enjoy spending our time outdoors with our families. Four-wheeling and fishing have become some of our favorite activities, and we love experiencing the beauty that Alaska has to offer.
As a dental assistant, I love working chairside with Dr. Wappett with diagnostic, restorative and surgical procedures. I'm also behind the scenes, helping our hygienists with periodontal charting, taking x-rays and sterilizing instruments, rooms, and appliances during and between your dental procedures. I find it meaningful to interact with so many wonderful people each day. I joined Dr. Wappett in 2023 and it quickly became one of my favorite jobs I’ve had. I enjoy helping everyone (staff and patients) maintain bright smiles!
I grew up in Washington, and have always loved exploring the outdoors! I moved to Alaska in 2023 with my fiancé, Thomas. I have absolutely loved the strong sense of community in Fairbanks. You see it everywhere, every day, but especially in our office. I love the mountains, the lights, and the scenery. This is such a gorgeous state. I love how people are just themselves here, noticeably more so than anywhere else I've been. Most of all, I have loved exploring Alaska with Thomas and our dog, Rosco, and all the plans we get to make for our future here.
