As a dental assistant, I love working chairside with Dr. Wappett with diagnostic, restorative and surgical procedures. I'm also behind the scenes, helping our hygienists with periodontal charting, taking x-rays and sterilizing instruments, rooms, and appliances during and between your dental procedures. I find it meaningful to interact with so many wonderful people each day. I joined Dr. Wappett in 2023 and it quickly became one of my favorite jobs I’ve had. I enjoy helping everyone (staff and patients) maintain bright smiles!
I grew up in Washington, and have always loved exploring the outdoors! I moved to Alaska in 2023 with my boyfriend, Thomas, who is attending UAF. I have absolutely loved the strong sense of community in Fairbanks. You see it everywhere, every day, but especially in our office. I love the mountains, the lights, and the scenery. This is such a gorgeous state. I love how people are just themselves here, noticeably more so than anywhere else I've been. Most of all, I have loved exploring Alaska with Thomas and Rosco, and all the plans we get to make for our future here.
